Inauguration of the Egyptian Federation for Climate Change in the presence of the Minister of Environment during the opening session of the Pan Africa Climate Justice Alliance Conference under the title " The Outcomes of Climate change COP 26 in Glasgow and the way to Sharm El Sheikh COP 27"

On the sidelines of COP26 conference outcomes in Glasgow and the way to the Climate change conference that will be held in Sharm El Sheikh COP 27, . Pan Africa Climate Justice Alliance has organised a meeting during the period from 12-18 December .
Youth Love Egypt has launched the Foundation of The Egyptian Federation of climate change ,with the participation of more than 25 associations and institutions in addition to Mr. Sherif Daoud, Deputy Director of the Sustainable Development Unit at the Egyptian Ministry of Planning representing His Excellency the Minister of Planning, Eng. Ahmed Kamal, Director of the Environmental Compliance Office at the Confederation of Industries, Mr. Augustin Banter, Policy Director of the Climate Alliance, Mr. Fathia Abdel Meguid, Financial Director of the African Climate Alliance, and Dr. Najwa Bouri The Chair of the African Climate Alliance and representatives of the African Climate Alliance, as well as the Chair of the African Climate Negotiating Group and representatives of the stakeholders participating in this conference.
The opening session included speech from Ahmed Fathi, President of the Youth Love Egypt Foundation, then the speech of her Excellency the Minister of Environment, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, who addressed Egypt’s preparations for the 27th Climate Summit and expressed her welcome to the African partners in their second country, Egypt. The speech of His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Nasr, Director of the Environment Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressed the preparations of Egypt to the summit and about supporting civil society efforts in the framework of preparations for the upcoming climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh. The speech of Mr. Sherif Daoud, representative of the Ministry of Planning, about the efforts of the Ministry of Planning in supporting the climate change file, the programs and policies that the ministry deals with to support this important file, also addressed the speech of Engineer Ahmed Kamal, Director of the Environmental Compliance Office, about the office’s role in supporting industrial activities to adapt to climate and the union’s partnerships with various African industries associations, and the union’s support and the commitment office for all activities related to the 27 climate summit with the union’s private sector partners

This event comes on the sidelines of the conference held by the African Alliance in Egypt, from 12 to 18 December, where capacity building was carried out for more than 25 Egyptian associations, in addition to explaining the most important themes related to energy in Africa and renewable energy, and the most important projects to adapt to climate changes implemented by it.

All this comes during the meeting organised by Pan Africa Justice Alliance PAJCA where 25 Egyptian associations has receivedcapacitybuilding, in addition to explaining the most important themes related to energy in Africa and renewable energy, and the most important projects to adapt to climate changes implemented by it.

Over the next three days, the conference will address the outcomes of the climate summit in Glasgow, and what we expect from the climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, in light of Egypt's presidency of this summit.
