2024: A Year of Growth, Impact, and Global Recognition for YLE Foundation
This year, Youth Love Egypt (YLE) Foundation has expanded its reach, strengthened youth leadership, and made a lasting impact through local and international initiatives. From global summits to hands-on programs, YLE continues to drive meaningful change.
Here’s a glimpse of what we achieved:
- 1,500+ applicants engaged in diverse programs, from leadership training to environmental camps.
- Organized four major camps in Siwa, Fayoum, and Wadi Degla, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable tourism.
- Launched the ARCH program, empowering civil society organizations through policy writing and capacity-building workshops.
- Trained over 30 organizations in climate adaptation, proposal writing, and AI governance for sustainable development.
- Represented youth globally at COP29, INC5 in South Korea, SB60 in Germany, UNEA-6, the Future Summit in New York, and the Global Disaster Risk Reduction Summit in Kenya.
- ECOSOC Accreditation, strengthening youth voices in international decision-making.
- Selected by the African Development Bank for its Civil Society Committee, driving policy discussions in Africa.
- First Erasmus+ participation, expanding skills in sustainable tourism and entrepreneurship.
- Organized interactive workshops for children on climate action, water conservation, and environmental responsibility.
