Engineer Donia Ibrahim, a member of the foundation, was selected as a representative for the South Mediterranean region.
She was invited by the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Commission, and funded by the Anna Lindh Foundation to attend the European Youth Week in Brussels...
The events of European Youth Week kicked off last Friday, marking a week full of significant events that bring together youth from all over Europe to discuss and exchange ideas about their future and the challenges they face.
The start was from the heart of the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, where the signal was given to commence this important event.
This year's European Youth Week focuses on:
- Raising awareness about the critical issues facing Europe today, such as climate change, democracy, and youth empowerment.
- For the first time this year, delegates from non-European Union countries are welcomed.
On the sidelines of youth empowerment "Donia" participated on Monday in the first study group held: focusing on how to empower youth to be more involved in policy dialogue, aiming to identify the challenges faced by youth in Europe and the South Mediterranean and to create innovative solutions for them.
