As part of our participation in the Environmental Summer Festival at the Zamalek Fish Garden, Youth Loves Egypt Foundation organized an interactive workshop titled "Youth Engagement in Climate Action," bringing together a group of passionate and ambitious youth dedicated to environmental and climate issues.
The workshop opened a space for genuine dialogue:
We discussed the challenges facing youth, from limited access to information and opportunities for meaningful participation to underrepresentation in decision-making spaces. More importantly, participants shared inspiring ideas and solutions, including creating sustainable youth spaces, developing relatable awareness content, and promoting environmental education in schools and communities.
This wasn’t just a workshop—it was a moment to affirm that youth voices matter and that change starts from small circles like these, uniting people who believe, act, and dream of a better tomorrow.
Big thanks to everyone who joined and contributed, and special gratitude to Cairo Climate Talks, the German Embassy, and all partners for making this vibrant environmental day happen in the heart of the city
